T-2.5 Hours: Get Your Submissions In + LAST(LAST) CHANCE to Join a Team!!
Just Under T-2.5 Hours Left: Hope you're getting ready for submission timeeeee!!!!
Couple notes:
- Check Slack for Stuff. It has lots of stuff. Like the rubric. And resources. And relevant workshop recordings. And tips. And most of all, some pretty cool people :)
- You Better Do That Form: This form. We've sent it many times. It confirms eligibility on our rules. Clarifies teammates. Tells us what theme you're competing in (although we'll be using discretion as well, especially for the tech people). It's a pre-requisite to your submisison being considered.
- Bonus Points Come Later: Be sure to get projects posted on EarthNet by Wednsday, December 7th (link here) for a bonus point. And there'll be a form to confirm other bonus points (e.g. workshop attendance) but that'll come later, likely tomorrow. Just focus on Devpost for now.
And another BIG BIG ONE: Are any one of you 260+ signed up people still looking for a team? There's a very motivated + cool person who's keen to put the work in over the next couple of hours but needs help. After experiencing load-shedding (linked to climate), timezones & challenges in communication, this person's had a tough go. But we're keen to try to find ways to make it work. Because your circumstances should not be determinative on your ability to paricipate in climate innovation. If you want to still want to take part, please send "Shitangshu Roy" a DM on Slack by 1:30 AM EST. LAST CHANCE (for real!)
We'll do our best to make some magic happen... Have seen some incredible stuff come together in a couple of hours. And it's NEVER too late to act for our beautiful Earth.
